3^rd Pakistan SME Conference 2009

We are pleased to inform you that the 3rd Pakistan SME Conference 2009  (www.shamrockconferences.net) with a special emphasis on 'Sector Recognition & Financial Challenges' is scheduled for August 8, 2009 at the Avari Hotel Karachi, with participation expected from delegates representing Pakistani and foreign organizations/institutions.

With the SMEs constituting 90% of 3.2 million business enterprises in Pakistan, contributing over 30% to the GDP and Rs.140 Billion in exports; the significance of the Small and Medium Enterprises sector to the growth & development of Pakistan is crucial as SMEs are considered the engine of economic growth in both developed and developing countries.

The full-day conference will include five (5) intensive and interactive Sessions, ranging from policy formulation to issues critical to the industry. Eminent speakers and practitioners from government, trade and international bodies will present their papers which will be chaired by distinguished personalities. A special session 'The Speakers' Panel Discussion' will conclude the Conference with recommendations that will be shared with both the government and media.
